Inspirational Quote

“I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious.”

~ Vince Lombardi

Adam Best: A Brief Biography

Adam Best has spent two decades serving veterans in various capacities: through military leadership, engineering project management, financial planning and small business ownership where he employed multiple veterans.  One of Adam’s core beliefs, developed early in his active duty Navy service, is that “we take care of our own.”  That was true in the military and is now proving to be the surest road to success in helping veterans in the civilian world.

Adam graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2005.  While there, he excelled in Navy ROTC and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Adam commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy, where he led Sailors and executed maritime operations on two deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism.  His tours included serving as the Electrical Officer onboard the guided missile destroyer USS OSCAR AUSTIN (DDG 79), and then as the Assistant First Lieutenant onboard the Amphibious Transport Dock USS MESA VERDE (LPD 19).

Upon leaving the military, he was recruited to supervise engineering projects as a civilian for the Navy.  During this time, he also completed an MBA.  He then followed his passion for solid financial practices and became a financial planner and insurance agent.  Adam prided himself on employing other veterans during the five years he owned his first small business.

Adam next ventured full time into supporting veterans.  First, Veterans in the Wild podcast launched in May, 2021 to honor veterans’ service, and how their service led directly to success in their civilian lives.  He is also a speaker and can provide coaching services for transitioning military personnel and veterans.

Adam & his wife, Kelly, married in 2011; they have two young superhero boys and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle of Florida.  Adam’s hobbies include football, barbeque, boating, weightlifting and meditation.
